From as far back as I can remember, I have been interested in alternative health and wellbeing...

My reason for practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and alternative health/natural healthcare is the joy I experience each day helping people recover from a very wide range of conditions.

My personal experience with acupuncture and nutrition led me to pursue this as a second career. I studied acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine for three years, graduating with a diploma in 'Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine' and a certificate in 'Clinical Medicine' from the renowned Dr. Vincent Carroll at the Landsdowne College of Acupuncture in 2010.

Furthermore, I completed a course in Tuina Massage for babies and children, and a course in Cosmetic Acupuncture in 2011.

In 2013, I had a great opportunity to complete a course in clinical practice in Acupuncture and children's Paediatric Acupuncture at the China Nanjing International Acupuncture Training Center.

Completing this has furthered my clinical skills and helped me deliver quicker and exceptionally effective results.

  • Chronic illness

  • Natural healing support

  • Depression

  • Pain

  • Infertility

  • Sports injuries

My background career is nursing. I embarked on the study of general nursing in St. Angela's College, and Sligo General Hospital, then specialised in Intensive Care at Thames Valley University, London.

To expand my education and experience, I subsequently worked for a pharmaceutical company for three years.

It was in the aftermath of a road traffic accident that I first tried acupuncture, to relieve some of my symptoms. And - to my surprise - I achieved relief and, in a very short period of time, I returned to optimal health.

I had awakened an interest in holistic treatments and decided to pursue an education into naturopathic nutrition, completing a certificate with merit in Naturopathic Nutrition in 2006.

My goal is to improve the health and quality of life in the community, and to share the benefits of natural medicine alternative health with as many as possible.

Natural healthcare is a viable, affordable solution for many of our nation’s healthcare problems. I am a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland, and I am also a registered general nurse with An Bord Altranais.
